In Eager, we get the opportunity to get close to people, teams and organizations - with all that it entails.
Dimensions and structure. Frustration and energy. Interpersonal Challenges. Teams rooting for each other but lacking systems. A strategy on paper -- and a different reality in practice. All this- and more- is part of what we encounter.
We become part of the process. Not just as professionals, but as people. We forge relationships with nice people and feel the eagerness to create something better- together with them. Our customers.
It's a mission, yes. But when we dive deep, it is easy to genuinely care a lot about both the people and the processes we contribute to. We will also see results — and we often challenge the pace of change.
We live our values- for real.
In Eager we strive to living our values:
We are Brave, sincere, reflected and Engaged - and it characterizes how we work.
It is not possible to make a real difference without standing in what is demanding. We ask questions. We challenge. We tell you - honestly and clearly. We promise, engage and are ambitious on behalf of our clients. Because we want the best. For both the people and the business as a whole.
When strategy does not become reality
At Eager, we work with companies within accounting and finance, IT and digitalization, and business development- Where I belong.
Often assignments in business development are about making strategy concrete, understandable and feasible. For strategy is not valuable until it gets fixed in practice.
And it is often here shoe presses: The business has a plan- but does not make it flow in everyday life. It's rarely about a lack of ambition. It's about people- who are supposed to lead, collaborate, understand and act based on what we “agreed to”.
Strategy as dust
All too often we encounter companies with strategy documents that have cost a lot- both in time and money to produce. They are worked through. With beautiful words and visual representations.
But then they stay put. And dusts.
Then management is not doing its job. Even if it's crass said, it's true.
Strategy is not a document. It is a management tools, et Lifting and a joint responsibility.
If it is not understood, prioritized and linked to actual behavior- nothing happens either.
This is where we in Eager often come in. Not to write a new strategy, but to Creating Life in the Existing. Make it clear. Operational. Alive. And most importantly: create ownership- in managers, between teams, and in everyday life.
Between Plan and Implementation
My role as a Senior Advisor at Eager is often about supporting in the critical space Between ambition and action. Between plan and execution. Between structure and culture. Between people.
I work as a senior advisor in business development- manager, culture and team developer, process facilitator and as a leadership coach.- and that's often in it interpersonal it stops, or loosens. When the goals are unclear. Communication slips. Interaction fails. Or when there is indistinctness between business areas.
That's why we often work multidisciplinary. Economics, technology, strategy and management are closely intertwined. What happens between people and functions internally affects everything from decision-making power to customer value.
Our approach is both strongly professional and human: We take responsibility for processes and results- and we go in with warmth, clarity and determination to make it work. Together with the customer.
When it loosens
And then- after a while- it happens: Something comes loose. People cooperate more easily. The strategy becomes visible in practice. Results are improving. Decisions are made faster and better connected. The organization flows better- together.
And then, then, it's often time for us in Eager to dropping the roof. The mission has been delivered. The strategy moves from words to action. Leadership is no longer just a title, but something that be done. Teams are safer. They challenge each other. They stand in it- together.
And that's when I feel it: that little feeling of Vemod.
Because I've tied a bond. Not just as an external resource, but as a partner. For some, safe hands along on the road.
Fortunately, we rarely let go completely. We often get to follow businesses further- or get invited back. And that adds great value. For the customers. And for those of us in Eager.
We do what we believe in
We love to help create something better. business, people and the planet. Sounds easy? It isn't always. But we're doing our very best. Together.
